You guys did a fantastic job, so enthusiastic, great questions. As someone who is new to the series (but doesn’t mind spoilers) I thought DG’s whole discussion on the shapes of the novels are fascinating and HELPFUL! For a complex series such as this one, personally, I would love to have as much resources as possible so I may fully enjoy the reading experience!
        Thanks again!

Thank you, Steph! It was our pleasure to speak with her 🙂

  2. Amazing interview! Great questions! Thank you!

  3. Yesenia says:

Can you clarify what Diana interrupted you on towards the end? You were asking a question I think regarding the end and she said yes it’ll be expalined…but I’m not sure what that is…help?

    • outlanderpod says:

Sure! We asked whether or not we’d find out, in the next book, how the ending of MOBY came about. (We didn’t want to spoil anything by saying exactly what that ending was, however.)

      Thank you for listening! 🙂

WOW! Great Podcast – I loved this interview! You were right about fans being interested in the “shapes” of Diana’s books. And I loved the info about Outlander being a Christ allegory and the pentecost scene. Thanks 🙂

I’m confused about the Jamie ghost. Can y’all help me with that? I’ve watched the show and have read through book 4. But he isn’t dead at age 25, so how can he be a ghost?
Loved the podcast and subscribed. 🙂

  6. My brain hurts at all the possibilities that Jamie’s ghost being 25 brings up. Would love an episode about all the different theories you have. I just finished the novellas, “The Space Between” and “A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows”, and they both bring up other questions! I don’t want to spoil anything, so I will leave it at that.

Jenny, we may do something like that one day. But it does open up a Huge Can Of Worms, doesn’t it? Delicious worms, but worms, nonetheless. We also enjoyed those novellas and will definitely revising them.
      Thank you for listening! 🙂
