Hey ladies…enjoyed your latest episode. I’m figuring from when you post them on iTunes that you are watching via early screener. 🙂 How fun!

Excellent episode overall, and AMAZING conveying of emotions from both leads. My heart was breaking for poor Jamie each time he thought Claire was going to toast him, and each time she just gulps the drink while ignoring him. Going to disagree with Ginger (or was it Summer?) regarding the wedding chapel. I thought the occurrence in the book was just too cutesy, and glad they changed it. One interesting thing that was neither mentioned in the book nor appeared in the episode…Claire’s skin, despite the abuse of Randall and Hawkins not 48 hours earlier, was totally bruise free. You would think she would have a lovely stomach bruise, at least.

Mara, yes, that was difficult to watch, though we had to remind ourselves what exactly she is going through, and also he is concerned for her. We both like the use of the same wedding chapel, didn’t find it cutesy. But I can definitely see how it might be viewed as such. — Very true about bruising… especially with the added kick(s)! Thank you for listening, and for leaving a comment 🙂

I just discovered Outlander! Season 1! I love it and I enjoyed the pictures above. They look amazingly good. Both of them. Gorgeous! But as you said… No marks on her shoulder and no bruises… However, I think the final result is beautiful.

Just reviewing the images above. Have seen them several times as I bought the DVD’s. And still enthusiastic. Well filmed, beautifully presented, and so troubling. Could we speak of a masterpiece? Even without marks?
